Back Pain Treatment

This pain is getting worser by the hour

Back pain can arise from the joints, muscles, discs, nerves, or a combination of structures in the spine and surrounding tissues. Symptoms may develop gradually, occur after an injury, or begin without an obvious cause. Because different conditions can produce similar symptoms, treatment begins with a history and examination to help identify the likely source of the problem.

Depending on the findings, treatment may include chiropractic manipulation or mobilization, lower-force techniques, soft tissue treatment, exercise, activity recommendations, traction, or spinal decompression. Treatment is individualized according to the patient's condition, goals, comfort level, and response to care.

How Is Back Pain Treated?

Most back pain can initially be managed with conservative care. The specific treatment approach depends on the examination findings and may change as the patient improves. If symptoms are not responding as expected, the treatment plan should be reconsidered rather than simply repeating the same care indefinitely.

When the history or examination suggests that additional evaluation may be appropriate, we can obtain on-site digital X-rays when clinically indicated or coordinate referral for MRI, medication management, physical therapy, specialist evaluation, injections, or surgical consultation.
